We sow your needs

Downey-Roberge Plantations Inc. has been growing plants in-house for 42 years now. In 2020, we decided to sow seeds to commercialize and make our product available to growers. As challenges of growing Christmas trees are changing rapidly, we are equally committed to assisting the sophisticated grower and the new grower.

Quality Control

There are three major steps to our quality control.

1. Genetics: By assuring that our genetics are cutting edge, we increase our yield and quality.

2. Grading of seedlings: We grade seedlings on year 2 to assure quality and uniformity before transplanting.

3. Harvest:We grade transplants during harvest to assure that quality standards are being met.

Hygiene Protocols

We understand the importance of plant hygiene. With well-drained soil, strict protocol application, and constant prevention, we work hard to keep our plants away from harmful pathogens.
